Cotswold Horse Tours is a concierge service, using personal experience and local knowledge to work with other equestrian businesses and professionals to organise particular fun activities for you. As a fully bespoke service, cost will depend on what you choose to do. We ask you to contact us to discuss your ideas and then, together, we will firm up your plans and work out the price.
Here are some sample itineraries as an indication of activities and prices:
- Running Thursday to Thursday as so much equestrian sport happens at weekends
- Price includes 7 nights accommodation, transport and sometimes an expert guide. All meals are excluded to allow for flexibility as interesting opportunities come along.
- Thurs: Transfer from airport or train station a.m.
- Thurs: Guided walking tour of the historic town of Cirencester p.m.
- Fri: Hack to pub lunch.
- Fri: Theatre show in the evening.
- Sat: Eventing Cross Country day.
- Sun: Polo match in the Park
- Tues: Visit to a professional Eventing or Racing yard to see behind the scenes and meet some beautiful horses.
- Wed: Visit city of Bath a.m.
- Wed: Flat racing at Bath racecourse p.m.
- Thurs: Hack 1 hr a.m.
- Thurs: transfer back to airport p.m.
- Price £2,200 per person in a group of FOUR
- Price includes 3 nights accommodation and sometimes an expert guide. It excludes transport and meals
- Thurs: Guided walking tour of historic town of Cirencester p.m.
- Fri: Hack to pub lunch and back.
- Sat: Point to Point racing.
- Sun: Go to a local Event to watch the competition and enjoy a guided cross country course walk with an Olympic official.
- Sun: p.m. departure
- Price £875 per person in a group of TWO.
- Price includes 7 nights accommodation, transport, an expert tour Guide, 'Membership' of the Event. No meals are included
- Wed: transfer to accommodation from airport or train station a.m.
- Wed: Guided walking tour of historic Cirencester town tour p.m.
- Thurs: Badminton Horse Trials Trot Up and guided Course Walk
- Fri: Badminton Dressage day one, shopping opportunities, displays.
- Fri: Theatre show in the evening.
- Sat: Badminton Dressage a.m. then watch The Coronation of King Charles III on large screens amongst the crowd in the Park.
- Sun: Badminton Cross Country
- Mon: Badminton Show jumping, final shopping bargains.
- Tues: Hack to pub for lunch and back.
- Wed: Transfer to airport onwards
- Price approximately £3,000 per person in a group of FIVE but ticket sales start 04 January 2023
- Week days, when the stables are not so busy
- Price includes transport from the train station
- Weekday Hack for 1 hour
- Price start from £70 per hour, per person, but this depends on location and duration.
